4. How to Initiate a Return — Step-by-Step
Returning a product to DecorTrends.in is simple. Follow these steps:

- Reason for Return
- Clear photographs or a short video of the product and its packaging
Step 2 — Return Approval
Our customer support team will review your request within **24–48 business hours** and send you a Return Authorisation (RA) confirmation if your request is approved.
Step 3 — Reverse Pickup
For eligible returns, we arrange a **free reverse pickup** from your delivery address through our courier partners. You do not need to visit any courier office or pay any shipping charges for approved returns.
Step 4 — Quality Check
Once we receive your returned product, our quality assurance team will inspect it within **2–3 business days**.
Step 5 — Refund or Replacement
Based on your preference and product availability, we will process either:

5. Refund Details — When Will You Receive Your Money?

Please Note:Refund timelines reflect when DecorTrends.in initiates the transfer. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the amount in your account. This is standard banking processing time and is outside our control.
6. Exchange Policy
Prefer an exchange over a refund? We are happy to facilitate a product exchange, subject to availability.
- Exchanges are processed on the same eligibility criteria as returns (see Section 2).
- If the replacement product carries a **higher price**, you will be asked to pay the difference before dispatch.
- If the replacement product carries a **lower price**, the difference will be refunded to your original payment method.

- COD orders that are cancelled before dispatch carry no charges whatsoever.

Q: Do I have to pay for return shipping?
No. For all approved returns, DecorTrends.in arranges a free reverse pickup from your address. You pay nothing for the return shipping.
Q: What if reverse pickup is not available at my location?
In rare cases where our courier partners cannot cover your pin code for reverse pickup, we will ask you to self-ship the product to our warehouse. In such cases, we will reimburse your actual shipping cost (up to ₹150) as store credit after the return is processed.
Q: I received the wrong product. What do I do?
Contact us within 48 hours at support@decortrends.in with your Order Number and a photograph of the product you received. We will arrange an immediate reverse pickup and dispatch the correct product at no additional cost to you.
Q: Can I return a product if I simply changed my mind or don't like it?
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for change of mind unless the product is significantly different from its description on our website.
